1953     Richard Page, R&R singer-songwriter/bassist. Member group: 'Mr. Mister', -formed in 1982; disbanded 1989. Included Page, Pat Mastelotto (b. 1955), Steve George (b. 1955) and Steve Farris (b. 1957), who was replaced in 1989 by Howard "buzz" Felton. (Their second album "Welcome To The Real World", featured lyrics by Page's cousin John Lang.) Page had first worked as a session musician (e. g. for Quincy Jones), and had composed for such stars as Donna Summer, Michael Jackson, Al Jarreau, Kenny Loggins, and many others. In the late 1970s, he and his childhood friend Steve George co-founded the band 'Pages' in Phoenix, Arizona (their best recalled song: "I Do Believe In You"). In 1982, 'Pages' morphed into 'Mr. Mister'. After disbanding, Richard Page returned to composing (co-writer for Madonnas "I'll Remember"), and also background singer for many artists. A little later on, he released a solo album "Shelter Me". Steve Farris went on to tour with 'Whitesnake' as well as recording songs with Tori Amos, 'The 4 Non Blondes' and others. Mastelotto played with 'XTC', 'King Crimson', 'Mastica' and many more. Steve George became the musical director for Kenny Loggins until 1997, after which he toured with 'Jewel'. John Lang founded the band 'Djinn'.
