Member: 'Tompall and The Glaser Brothers' group consisting of "Tompall" (Thomas Paul Glaser, Lead Vocals, Songwriter, Guitar, b. Spalding, Nebraska, USA), Chuck (Charles Glaser), and Jim (James William Glaser, Tenor Vocals, Songwriter, Guitar, b. Spalding, Nebraska, USA) Their father, Louis, an accomplished guitarist, taught his sons to play the guitar. While still teenagers, they formed 'Tompall & the Glaser Brothers'. and appeared in a 13-weeks series on KHAS-TV, Hastings, Nebraska, as well as having a show on KHOL-TV Holdredge, Nebraska, all in addition to playing local gigs. In 1957, they met Marty Robbins at one of Marty’s concerts. He was so impressed with their tight harmonies, that he signed them to his own Robbins label. From the mid-1960’s through the mid-'70’s and during the early 1980’s, the brothers could always be found on the C&W charts.
