Why are we asking you to enter the text from an image?

We're protecting the internet from spammers.
How?? By asking you to confirm that you're not an automated computer program used
by a spammer to send spam messages.

If we didn't do this, a spammer's computer program might be able to use our Form to send
spam to BOTH OF US. This results in a lot of wasted time and effort.

People are smarter than computers, so, we're asking you to enter the text you see in the
image because a computer program probably can't do that.

By entering the text you see in the image, you're helping our server confirm that you're a
real human being and not an automated computer program. This should greatly help in
reducing the amount of spam you receive.

Of course no plan is perfect. We can defeat an automated computer program, but, if a live
spammer is filling out the form, there's little we can do. But at the very least, this
may cut the amount of spam you receive, and every little cut helps.

This is one more way that the Big Bands Database Plus is trying to help our site visitors.
